What is R-BAG?

R-BAg is an acronym for the Red Bank  Arts Guild.  Established in 2008, Red Bank Arts Guild  is just starting out and in need of board members.

R-BAG was created to encourage and stimulate the practice and appreciation of the creative arts among the people living in the Red Bank, White Knoll and Pelion area of Lexington, South Carolina. To achieve this goal R-BAG is willing to work cooperatively with other groups to help build audiences and participation in the arts.

We encourage sponsors and plan to hold meetings.

We encourage new members daily, many who work full-time in the field of art as art teachers, graphic artists or professional artists.  R-BAG hopes to  bring together adults living in the Lexington County, S.C. area with a common interest – ART!

How and when did this website originate?

Created by a growing need to gather art and artistic driven groups, as well as schedule meetings and events, membership information with an application, ongoing exhibit locations, and officer contact information.  An online gallery of original works by R-BAG artists should also be included.    Artists' links are added and updated on a regular basis.  Check back often to see what's new on our site.
